A new resource available: Organizations in Asia and the Pacific serving Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
Monsoon’s Campus compiled a list of organizations located in Asia and the Pacific serving survivors/victims of gender-based violence. This project is rooted in the needs of international students who are victims/survivors of gender-based violence. Based on our campus work, many international students eventually go back to their countries of origin. Monsoon believes it is necessary to compile a resource list of service providers for victims of gender-based violence in different countries in Asia, the Middle East and the Pacific. (This list do not include organizations in the U.S. Territories in the Pacific.)
The International Resource Project – Asia is compiled by the Campus Peer-to-Peer Advocate & Outreach team: Yanning Chen, Kahmun Yap, Esther Hwang, Tanvi Yenna, Sixuan Keeli Bao, Thuy Nguyen, and led by Hieu Pham.
All survivors, regardless of race or gender, can access the programs in this directory. Access the resource by clicking the link: International Resource Project – Asia
The project is funded by a grant from the Office on Violence Against Women.
